Regular, one-on-one lessons are the most effective way to learn a new instrument, to master playing in the Irish style, and to build a personal repertoire of tunes. Private lessons are great for:

Instruments offered
Teachers are available on most traditional instruments, including fiddle, tin whistle, mandolin, Irish flute, uilleann pipes and bodhrán, as well as traditional singing. For other instruments, please enquire below.

Lesson scheduling and location
Lessons are generally taught during our weekly Thursday night gatherings at Green Wood Center, which run during the academic year. While teachers are usually on hand during this time, please contact your teacher ahead of time to ensure availability on a specific day/time. Summer and alternative lesson scheduling may be arranged at the discretion of the teacher.
Rates
Our lesson rates are reasonable and competitive, but will vary slightly based on teacher and lesson duration. For more information, please fill out the interest form below.
