Detroit Irish Music Association branch of CCÉ has been promoting and teaching traditional Irish music in the Detroit area for over 40 years through lessons, workshops, concerts, and social musical gatherings.

 Weekly Lessons & Sessions

Detroit Irish Music Association CCE meets Thursdays September - May at Green Wood FUMC for a learners' session, Irish traditional music session, and lessons for Irish traditional music.

Our membership page is now active! Head over to Join to view membership options and pay online. This year, our combo memberships reflect a $5 increase set by CCE. All DIMA-only memberships remain the same price. In order to hold office for our branch, or vote at our AGM, a CCE membership is required. Our branch Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, October 6th. 

With all of our events, masks are preferred when not playing an instrument.

All are welcome to the Detroit Gaelic League Irish American Club for a traditional Irish session beginning at 7pm in the bar. 


Ceili dancing with Kitty Heinzman beginning at 7pm in the hall for a small cover fee.
